The White Plains Rugby Football Club thanks you for your participation in the 19th annual, WPRFC Jo-Jo Moore Rugby Tournament, Saturday June 11, 2011 at Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY (directions). White Plains RFC is a 501c3 not-for-profit entity focused on being proactive in the community both on and off the athletic field. Your tax deductible participation/sponsorship/donations will help us with a great cause. Matt "Jo-Jo" Moore has been a quadriplegic since suffering a severe spinal injury in 1991 while playing in an Old Boys Rugby match. This annual, all-day event honors Jo-Jo, his wife Peggy, and their family, while at the same time celebrating rugby, friendship and good cheer among all who come to play and watch. The event continues to grow and this year features an Old Boys Division, Premier Division, Club Division, and Women’s Division.

Sponsorship
We are asking participating teams to help us attract sponsorship and donations within their organization and local communities. Attached are Sponsorship Forms for outreach to potential company and individual sponsors. It may be as simple as players asking their employer to help in this worthy cause. White Plains Rugby Football is a 501c3 tax-exempt amateur athletic organization, and all donations and sponsorship of the WPRFC Jo-Jo Moore Rugby Tournament are tax deductible - and greatly appreciated! All tournament proceeds shall benefit WPRFC and the family of Matt "Jo-Jo" Moore. All designated sponsorships and donations shall be used solely for the purpose so designated.
Party After Tournament
Following the tournament there will be live music, food and beverages. Chris Paccione and the Turnstile Jumpers will be performing featuring: Reggie Barnes - Drums Alex Craven - Bass & vocals Andy Bassford - Guitar & Vocals Chris Paccione - Vocals & Harmonica The day truly promises will be a "Rugby Festival." We hope you stay for the whole event.
